Jesus is the Creator

Following is what I understand the verses to say;
Isaiah 48:

12 "Listen to me, O Jacob,
       Israel, whom I have called:
       I am he;
       I am the first and I am the last.
[The speaker identifies himself as the First and the Last, and then goes on to say;]

 13 My own hand laid the foundations of the earth,
       and my right hand spread out the heavens;
       when I summon them,
       they all stand up together.
[Here, this speaker says he laid the foundations of the earth and spread out the heavens. Who is this speaker, aside from the creator and the First and the Last? He identifies himself further in the following verse;]

 16 "Come near me and listen to this:
       "From the first announcement I have not spoken in secret;
       at the time it happens, I am there."
       And now the Sovereign LORD [In this case, the Father] has sent me,
       with his Spirit.

[The speaker says the Sovereign Yahweh sent him, meaning; the Sovereign Yahweh sent the individual who laid the foundations of the earth,, and spread out the heavens, the One who identified himself as the First and the Last.]

[We see that he also calls himself the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last in Re. 22:

12 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
 14 "Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.
15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
 16 "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."

It is important that you understand; Everything on this blog is based on my current understanding. Never take anyone's word for it, always prove it for yourself, it is your responsibility. You cannot ride someone else's coattail into the Kingdom.

Yes, Jesus is the Creator, which is why you see Him on the throne(symbollically) as the stated Creator in Rev.4:9-11,(remember no one has seen the Father-John 1:18 & 5:37) and as the "slain Lamb"who is the only one who can remove the seals from the mysterious book of Rev.5.
He could only open that book after His crucifixion.
