Ron Said Vs Jesus Said

So, if Ron says there are brokerage problems it's part of the tribulation...
earthquakes, part of the tribulation - interesting how all the 'usual' is now 'the tribulation' - He says it's amazing what people will believe. Well, yes.. it..is! I'm just astounded! Ron speaks LIES... and some BELIEVE! Look at the tragedy of Myanmar. Tribulation! Problem? Yeah, Ron said it happens in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand. What page of the book was Myanmar on? We won't even get into Ephraim and Manasseh.

Look, did you see that earthquake in the Aleutian's? It's a sign people! We're in the tribulation! Wait a sec. Which one? Cuz the Aleutian's are hit almost every day, multiple times a day, and have been for years. Does that mean the tribulation started YEARS ago?

Ron says the reason people don't want to obey God is...SEX! Yep sex. And Ron feels sorry for people whose lives have been hurt by sin. WHAT? Wait a sec! EVERY life is HURT by sin, because EVERYONE sins!

Ron is NOT a nice person. He is sadly lacking in LOVE, kindness, mercy, & compassion. He is condescending, arrogant, mocking and rude. He resembles, in NO WAY, Christ, AT ALL, and we all know it. You hear it when he speaks. You push it to the back of your mind, ignore it, but it's there.

He lives in the old covenant - a harsh, harsh place. You need to understand that the new covenant is where Jesus is. Here, there is LOVE, freedom, peace, forgiveness & salvation. It really isn't difficult to understand. Living in the old covenant isbeing on a dead-end road that empties at the Pit, or outside the kingdom. I truly wish you could see that.
You see that bus off in the distance? You see that person with His arm up in the air, waving you over? It's Jesus. He has a bus ticket for you, but there's a catch; You have to leave the road your on & accept the bus ticket in order to get on the bus, because it's on a different road; The narrow road to Salvation.

Don't cling to Ron for the hope that Jesus will be back in three years. He'll come when it's time. Why would you want to live a lie? It's kinda like; "hey, if you were to find out that my wife/husband was cheating on me, don't tell me, I don't want to know." Why live a lie? Don't let him stand between you and God anymore.

If John said in 1 Jn. 2:24-27 "See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is what he promised us—even eternal life.

26 I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray.

27 As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him."

why would you believe it when Ron says you must be taught by him? If Jesus said in Mt. 18:20; "For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Why would you believe Ron over Jesus? Why would you believe Ron when he says you can't study at home and expect to grow spiritually?

If Jesus said in Jn. 14:26 "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." Why would you believe Ron over Jesus?

If Jesus said in Jn. 6:45 "It is written in the Prophets: 'They will all be taught by God.' Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me." Why would you believe Ron over Jesus? Why would you live a lie?

This blog contains articles that clearly and easily refute the things Ron passes off as the truth of God; (As I always say; Ask God for guidance before you begin & don't limit yourself to the scriptures provided in these articles, find lots more of your own! Do As Bereans Did.)

"The first four trumpet blasts will announce four powerfully destructive events that will bring about the total collapse of the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia,New Zealand, and some countries of Western Europe. The direct effect of all four events is first and foremost upon the United States." [pp. 116, 2008: God's Final Witness]

"This first powerful event of the Seventh Seal will result in wide-spread destruction over the United States and beyond her border into Canada. The destruction in Canada will be less, but she will experience repercussions from what will happen in the U.S.; because she is a neighbor, as well as a prophetic brother." [pp. 117 - 118, 2008: God's Final Witness]

Did Weinland address these parts of the book on Saturday?

He didn't?

Really.

I wonder why that is?

I have been blog jumping the past few months reading what everyone has to say on Weinland; I haven't posted any comments until now.

I think you hit it on the dot when comparing Weinland to Christ. Jesus represents everything we should strive to be and it is clear that Ronald is not on the same pathway. I understand how some can get angry with Ron's teachings, but if we continue to "bash" him we are not holding up to our standards of christianity.

This is the reason for my post... because your focus on reaching his followers should be our main goal.

Cheers

I understand your perspective, but there is a balance to be struck. We who have experienced the damage inflicted by authoritarian OC tyrants are not willing to simply allow the next generation of wannabe’s a free reign. That would fit the category of the hollow, “Be ye warmed and filled.”(James 2:16)
This is not necessarily a matter of anger. For some it is, but like a grieving process, it needs to be completed. Many have suffered irretrievable loss, and bottling up the natural emotional response is really pathological. And the honest venting through telling of personal experience stands as a warning. If anyone has any wisdom, they will learn by these experiences of others. Check out another pertinent perspective on this issue; Why I Support the blog, Survivor of Armstrongism
Jesus was not silent concerning the wolves; I can see no reason why we should be. I wish that someone could have shown me the errors of Armstrongism early on, and saved me some serious damage ( of which I will post more on later); but the one’s trying to show me the errors were themselves too inexperienced to present a sound argument, which, incidentally is what the “teachers of the law count on.”
Matt23:13"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.
15"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are.
